Know when to step out of the pool

Why the free pools are 19+

Social casino games share their look, sound and tempo with real gambling. For that reason Cedar Soak Springs is aimed only at adults over the legal gambling age, never at anyone under 19. You confirm your age twice: on the banner that appears when you first arrive, and with a required tick when you create your account.

Promises the retreat keeps

• No offering or promoting of real-money gambling.
• No prizes worth anything in the real world.
• No coins for sale, and no in-app purchases.
• No links out to gambling operators or affiliates.
• No countdowns or streaks to pressure you into coming back.

Elwood’s honest warning

Free games can be made to feel generous, and they refill your balance at no cost. Real-money games do not. Whatever happens in these pools tells you nothing about how you would get on with money at stake.

Signs the soak has gone on too long

• Staying in the water far longer than you planned.
• Feeling cross when it is time to stop.
• Using the games to escape how you feel.
• It is eating into your sleep, work or time with people.
• You find yourself looking for a real-money version of the pools.

Staying in charge of your soak

• Choose how long you will soak before you begin.
• Don’t switch autoplay on.
• Climb out for regular breaks.
• Clearing this site’s data resets everything; blocking it in your device settings stops it for good, if that is what you want.
